Meet the trainer

Hi, I'm Sara! — a fully accredited and approved Dog Trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), proud dog mum to Lenny, our Cavapoochon. My mission is to help owners build positive, rewarding relationships with their dogs, making training both effective and enjoyable for everyone involved.

My journey into dog training began in January 2023, when I started working as a dog walker. Spending time with a wide variety of dogs made me realise how important it is to understand canine behaviour — not just for safer, more enjoyable walks, but to support dogs as individuals.

Since then, I’ve become a fully accredited dog trainer through the IMDT and continue to build my professional development. I’m currently studying Level 4: Consultations, Foundations and Function of Behaviour, as part of my pathway to becoming a qualified behaviourist. This allows me to support more complex emotional and behavioural needs with empathy and science-backed methods.

Life with a puppy can be pretty beautiful.
Sometimes you just need a little help making it that way — and that’s exactly what this guide is here for.
